Coffee Group for ALS Caregivers
Join current and former ALS caregivers for an ALS Society of Alberta Coffee Group to foster community and share common experiences.
Along with host Kelsie Snow, who was the primary caregiver for her husband, Chris, during his 4.5-year ALS journey, this group will discuss Modern Love's podcast episode, The Love Poem Andrea Gibson Wrote for Their Widow... and for You.
Groups are capped at 8 people. Morning and evening sessions are offered to support caregiver schedules.
As a bereaved caregiver, discussions with current caregivers can assist me with healing certain aspects of my own grief. In turn, I hope current caregivers hearing from bereaved caregivers lends some gentle hope to what can be such a challenging caregiving experience.
